Zev graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). He uses an integrated model of Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) to help clients get deeper in touch with themselves and their mental/physical health. He believes strongly in viewing a client’s presenting concern through a biopsychosocial lens. This view encompasses the physical, emotional, and social makeup of each individual client. He looks forward to helping you navigate the challenging world of IBS through the tools and perspective he offers.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is characterized by a variety of symptoms, including cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea or constipation, or both. IBS is a chronic condition that you’ll need to manage long term. The cause is not well understood.

There is no definitive test to diagnose IBS. IBS is diagnosed after your doctor has reviewed your symptoms and occasionally ordered tests to rule out other conditions.
