Ian Bookman, MD is a Gastroenterologist in Toronto who specializes in diseases of the digestive system, including general gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. Dr. Bookman provides patient care and performs endoscopic procedures at St. Joseph’s Health Centre as well as at the Kensington Screening Clinic. He received his medical degree and fellowships in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from the University of Toronto, and is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bookman is the President of the Ontario Association of Clinical Endoscopists, he also founded the charity Bum Run to raise awareness of colon cancer screening and prevention, which has raised more than $500,000 net for charity.
